Private Capital,
Public Good
I'm Joseph Hsieh. I bring more than 25 years of experience running and investing in financial services businesses. My work centers on leading corporate transformation and building second growth curves, and I believe capital should create both financial returns and social value.

For more than twenty years I have worked across finance, microfinance and startups. I have seen capital help a company grow a second growth curve, and I have seen a single small loan change a family's everyday life.
I believe capital can deliver both returns and good. If you are thinking about your company's next step, the direction of your family's capital, or a startup that deserves support, I would be glad to sit down and talk.

As Vice Chairman of Anue Securities Investment Consulting and General Manager of Anue (cnYes), I built Anue Fund into Taiwan's largest independent online fund platform within four years, with more than US$1.5 billion in assets, and led the group's transformation from financial media into a regulated financial services group.
Before that I led an online lending and investment platform that completed nearly US$28 billion in lending and crowdfunding transactions within 24 months. Earlier, as Senior Vice President at Temasek-owned Fullerton Financial Holdings, I was seconded to Alibaba Group to co-develop financial services, then served as Regional General Manager for North and Southwest China, running SME and supply-chain finance and supporting the sale of the business to Ping An Group. Before that, as Greater China COO of Opportunity International, I built and managed rural microfinance and credit guarantee companies. I began my career at Mastercard and Deloitte Consulting.
Education: MBA, Graduate Institute of Business Administration, National Taiwan University; BS in Mathematics, National Taiwan University; Electronics, Hsin Pu Junior College of Technology.
Outside work, I serve at the Bread of Life Christian Church in Taipei as a deacon and marketplace ministry small-group leader.
