Citing SME and Startup Administration data, the editorial notes Taiwan's AI startups raised US$569 million in 2025, up nearly 80%, but argues money alone will not build global platforms. It urges the state to supply data-authorization rules, common interfaces and testbeds, big firms to open procurement and overseas channels, and success to be measured by recurring overseas revenue and R&D kept in Taiwan.
