HKEX launches 'Green Equity' designation for listed companies
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing launched a voluntary Green Equity designation. Independent reviewers will check that at least 50% of a company's revenue and investment go to green activities, under 5% to fossil fuels, with board-level sustainability oversight. Holders may use the mark subject to annual reassessment, giving Asian investors a clearer screen for green stocks.
