TPG raises $10 billion for its second climate private equity fund
TPG has raised $10 billion for TPG Rise Climate II, which was due to close to new money at end-September, Bloomberg reported. UAE-backed Alterra committed around $1 billion. The Rise Climate platform had $17.1 billion in total commitments as of August, a sign large LPs still back the energy transition.
