APG committed €150 million ($167 million) on behalf of Dutch pension fund ABP to SLM Silva Fund II, its first and final close. The fund backs continuous cover forestry, starting in Ireland then Europe, where keeping canopy and regular thinning can steady cash flows and cut replanting costs.
