HarbourVest reportedly buys GIC's $1B private fund portfolio in secondary deal

HarbourVest is reported to be acquiring a $1B portfolio of private fund stakes from Singapore sovereign fund GIC in a secondary transaction, giving it a diversified pool of fund interests. Large Asian LPs are increasingly using secondaries to rebalance private-market exposure.
