数位発展部は国発基金100億台湾元を原資とするAI新創投資方案の対象を拡大し、研究開発・売上・従業員のいずれかの5割以上が台湾にある海外法人も投資可能とした。8月までに10社へ約2.55億元を投じ、民間資金約5.7億元を呼び込んだ。海外持株会社型の台湾AIチームを取り込む狙い。
MODA's NT$10B AI startup investment plan opens to offshore firms operating mainly in Taiwan
Taiwan's digital ministry widened its NT$10B AI startup co-investment plan to offshore companies with at least 50% of R&D, revenue or staff in Taiwan. By August it had backed 10 firms with about NT$255M from the National Development Fund, drawing some NT$570M in private money — a bid to keep Taiwanese AI teams with overseas holding structures in reach.
