Bloomberg reports family offices such as Premji Invest and Claypond Capital are stepping up bets on Indian AI startups. India drew just over US$15 billion in private AI investment in 2013-2025 versus about US$757 billion in the US and US$132 billion in China, leaving family money to help fill the gap.
