Singapore's DayOne weighs delaying or halving its US IPO after data centre rout

The Edge Malaysia (Bloomberg) · 2026-10-21

Singapore data centre operator DayOne, backed by Coatue, Hillhouse and SoftBank Vision Fund, had eyed up to $5 billion at about a $20 billion valuation as soon as Q4. After a sector sell-off it is weighing a delay or a smaller $2.5–3 billion listing. With Firmus pulling its IPO and CoreWeave shares down by more than half from May, the exit window for Asian AI infrastructure is narrowing.
