Bank of America study: next generation set to reshape family offices
Bank of America Newsroom · 2026-10-20
Bank of America Private Bank surveyed 355 US family offices: 83% have named a successor but only 27% have a trust distribution policy, and just 37% of recent transitions had a very prepared heir. Private equity is 27% of alternatives, with 59% planning to add — naming a leader is not the same as readiness.
